Owosso Soccer defeated Brandon, 1-0, in a physical, competitive Metro League match. The lone goal came from Izzy Jameson's penalty kick. The PK opportunity resulted after Liz McCroan was taken out near the goal line. Jameson made 2 saves as keeper, while Adeline Mahoney took over with 4 saves. 

I am one incredibly proud coach! This team continues to show resiliency and passion every step of the way. They always put the team first and rebound from season setbacks in a positive way. Following a tough Monday loss to Flushing, our team regrouped for a solid Tuesday practice.

A renewed spirit was evident, tonight, as our team entered the field with something to prove. Our fullbacks made consistently strong tackles, protecting the goal, and forcing difficult shooting opportunities for our opponent. Rorie Babcock made her presence known as she led a solid back line all game. Ainsley Lintner played the best game of her Freshman season, splitting time between center back and center mid. Our midfielders played a strong game, battling for every ball. Tonight's game was a perfect example of the way our team continues to build upon their experiences. We look forward to a great finish to the season.
